Hotel Website & Booking Engine
At Crazy Web Studio we love a challenge and working with the stunning Hotel Carlton in Italy presented just that. This beautiful location required a hotel website and booking engine for guests to reserve their stay directly on the website. Our team wanted to not only showcase the hotel and its facilities, but also offer website visitors an easy and pleasant way to book a stay in Hotel Carlton. Therefore, we customized many aspects of this hotel website, including:
- Prominent call-to-action buttons located throughout the inner pages and on the header
- Responsive design, sticking an “availability checker” to the footer of tablet and mobile device views
- Showcasing of the hotel rooms, restaurant, and other facilities with carefully chosen photos and graphics
- A complete booking engine for potential guests to check availability and make a reservation
The hotel website also features a multi-language option, providing English, German, and of course Italian languages. The primary goal of the website design is functionality, usability, and easy bookings for the hotel.
Booking Engine
One of the biggest challenges of designing this website was creating a functional and easy-to-use booking engine that would sync with the hotel’s internal system to provide real time room availability updates and booking abilities.
We designed the booking engine on a subdomain connected to the main website domain which provides users with the ability to quickly check room types, availability, and dates. The booking engine also offers an easy way to reserve and pay for rooms at the Hotel Carlton with instant confirmation emails sent to guests who book a stay via the hotel website.
Multi Language
An important feature of this website is the multi-language capabilities. As a premier hotel in one of Europe’s most popular destinations, Hotel Carlton needed to maximize their reach for potential guests. To this end, the website was translated to both English and German for international visitors while maintaining the structure, layout, and usability of the website. Our multi-language efforts also incorporated SEO best practices to assist the website with ranking on Google in local languages.
